From Telegram to Instagram...

Few years back I never imagined that talking to my cousin in USA, or my Aunt in Australia was just a tap away, I remember the stories my grandparents used to tell me about how they used to wait for the letters, postcards or telegrams for any update, an invitation or an urgent information. My parents also amazed me by the way they used to communicate, though they had a developed way but  their range was still quite limited or was too costly and only communication mode available was telephones that too not in every home, and what better they could have provided than verbal communication.

And this is my age of blazing fast communication to any part of world through wireless system, and it has developed to such a great extent that range is no more a bar and also it has provided us with a whole new set of technology of video calling, which in no time virtually makes someone in front of us.

I really sometimes think that how we have been bestowed upon by the technology that it has reduced all distances, reduced all those long times to just a few seconds and has brought a whole new way of communication which is no more as costly or limited to well off section.

Now it is quite obvious for me that though I don't meet my cousins too often yet I am quite well updated about them, their life. Facebook, Instagram and other amazing sites every morning tell me something new about them. Also it is not hard for me to stay in touch with those people who are no more available around. And of course, social media has played a vital role in it  It has brought done the communication to everyone's reach and capabilities. A great thanks to those great minds working for us.

So, it can be easily brought down to a note that communication system has really developed a lot from our forefathers age to ours, and will for surely keep developing in further ages too.
